For the best and safest use of your Carfume™, follow these simple steps. Always prepare it outside the car on a clean, flat, wipeable surface, and clean any spills right away. Remove the cork from the Carfume™ bottle and the lid from the refill, then squeeze all the liquid into the Carfume™ bottle. Secure the cork tightly so it’s not loose, give the bottle a gentle shake, then hold it upside down for 5–10 seconds until the cork tip darkens—don’t oversoak. Hang it from your rearview mirror, making sure only the string touches the car’s interior. Repeat the inversion every 5–7 days to refresh the scent. It lasts around 6 weeks. Avoid over-inverting as it can cause leaks, clean spills immediately to prevent stains, never block your driving view, and keep the liquid away from any surfaces in the car or home.
